“לך כנוס את כל היהודים”
“Go and gather all the Jews”
In ancient Shushan, Hashem’s rescue comes after the Jewish people gather in a demonstration of unity and solidarity with Queen Esther and with each other.
The solidarity of the Jewish people – based on the principle that “Kol Israel Arevin” – “all of Israel is responsible for one other” – has been a key factor in our survival throughout our history. It is a value that the KEMACH Foundation works tirelessly to promote: by helping integrate Haredim into Israel’s economy and transforming them into meaningful players in Israeli society, we are furthering a sense of unity and common destiny among all sectors of the population.
Every donation to KEMACH gives more young Haredim the means to become financially independent and support their families with dignity. It enables them to get off the charity rolls and to become contributors, rather than burdens, to society.
We pray that the sense of mutual responsibility will bring Geula to our people today as well and that the Jews will have “light and gladness, and joy and honor.” “לַיְּהוּדִים הָיְתָה אוֹרָה וְשִׂמְחָה וְשָׂשֹׂן וִיקָר…”
We wish you and your families a happy and healthy Purim.
