Congratulations to the graduates of the course in urban renewal for social consultants from the Haredi community
Many urban renewal projects begin every year in Jerusalem. To help apartment owners navigate the bureaucratic and administrative maze, we conducted, together with the Urban Renewal Administration in Jerusalem, a unique course for the Haredi community to train social consultants in urban renewal.
A ceremony was held last week at the conclusion of the course, at which certificates were distributed to graduates. The certificate, which is recognized by the Israeli Authority for Urban Renewal, will enable course graduates to serve as consultants for urban renewal projects. Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Lion, KEMACH Foundation CEO Motti Feldstein and Jerusalem Development Authority CEO Eyal Haimovsky presented the certificates to the 20 graduates.
The director of Jerusalem’s Urban Renewal Administration, Mrs. Neta Nissim, congratulated the graduates and expressed the hope that they would play an active part in Pinui-Binui (evacuation and reconstruction) projects.
Elazar Atzor, CEO of the Kivun Center, also congratulated the graduates and thanked the partners in this initiative, first and foremost, Jerusalem’s Mayor Moshe Lion, the Jerusalem Development Authority and the Jerusalem Urban Renewal Administration.
